What is the best chinchilla food? - chinchilla food
I have two chinchillas, five months and have been feeding LM Animal Farms Vita-Vittles Octodon and wondered if this is the best option. I have a new chin and not much experience with them.
A chinchilla recently pooing fresh soft shit sticks to the skin and surrounding area. Does it have anything to do with food?
Please help. I only want the best for my chin.

The food that is not feed you well. Nearly all the food you buy in a pet shop is undesirable, unless the following list:
Mother Nature Nutrena Rabbit 16%
Purina Advanced Nutrition Rabbit or Pro-Sho
Tradition Chinchilla
ODA Chinchilla
Oxbow Chinchilla
Mazuri Chinchilla
Two of them can be found in a pet shop, the other can be obtained from a local dealer, or you can register here http://www.chins-n-hedgies.com in the classified sections.
Are you feeding your chinchilla is young? If so, stop. Lie is not expected until at least 6 months old, and if given in moderation.
Dried rosehips
Bio-buds
A very casual leave
Bite size shredded wheat without sugar
A little old (not quick) oats
Chew Chin http://www.chins-n-hedgies.com/forums/sh safe timber ...
Most of these factors could be good for the small chin, but again, moderation is the key.
For fuck soft, remove all the balls (and dispose of itbelow) and provide good quality Timothy hay meadows just a few days. Be sure to program on a practice-wide and to monitor their weight to that they do not lose. Watch your water consumption, urine production, and their shit. You can also enter daily acidophilus of irrigation in a bite-sized shredded wheat and charcoal is also an enormous task that diarrhea in the chin clear. If the diarrhea is gone, slowly introduce pellets in their diet, but try to get one of the older brands. You should be able to at least find the spot. If not, you may be able to a breeder near you find in the forum feed can sell. Use a highly filtered water or reverse osmosis to ensure that no contaminants are lower reach in this way.
If diarrhea lasts more than 3 days to get a stool sample to your veterinarian. In mucosy diarrhea (wet and sticky), or smelly, then they must be treated immediately, as it could be an indication of giardia or other parasites.
